If you are an architect or architecture student and you have a project (unbuilt), made between 2015 and 2023 we invite you to submit one of your projects to compete to be published in the Trama 175 of next March. This call is open to architects and architecture students from all over the world. The typology is single house of less than 80 m2. There is no cost to participate, you only have to comply with the following rules:

The purpose of the competition is to disseminate architectural projects of excellent quality that are original proposals made by architects or architecture students that for various reasons were not built but that constitute a professional contribution, and at the same time, give them recognition by publishing their work in the Trama magazine printed and digital.
-REQUIREMENT: There are 2 categories, one for architects and the other for architecture students. The project submitted must have been completed 2015-2023 and does not have to have been built. Housing up to 80 m2 are accepted. Teams of architects and/or students can participate. The competition is international and therefore works from anywhere in the world are accepted. Each contestant or team can submit a maximum of 3 different projects.

Following the link, a folder named with the name of the author of the project (or representative of the team) must be uploaded.
The folder sent should contain the following:

IMPORTANT: This file must contain signature of responsibility on authorship, and written authorization to publish the project both on Facebook and Instagram as well as in the printed and digital Trama Magazine. Contact information, name, ID number, address and telephone number must also be included.
Brief descriptive report. Maximum 1500 characters (with space). Delivered in Word file.
3. Plans, floor plans, cuts and diagrams in high resolution jpg format (Maximum 8 in total).
4. Renderings and perspectives of the project (minimum 4) in jpg format 300 dpi high resolution, minimum compressed size of each file 4 MB.
5. The images (plans and photos) must not have watermarks or author’s names or logos.
6. No plates will be accepted, only images and text separately.
7. The images submitted are considered to be those of the person who signs the project. If the credit of the images corresponds to another person and not to the author of the project, please indicate in the technical file.
– TIMELINE: The projects will be published on Facebook and Instagram as they are received from Wednesday, February 8 until Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 18:00 Ecuadorian time.
Voting through the number of comments received will close on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 15:00 Ecuadorian time, the winners will be announced on Tuesday, March 7.
– WINNERS: 6 projects chosen by the jury appointed by Trama will be published in the magazine: 3 winning projects for each category and 6 projects with the highest number of comments received on social networks will be reviewed in the same edition. The winning projects will be published in Trama 175 magazine both in the paper edition and in the digital edition that will circulate in the third week of March.
-PRIZE: The 6 winning projects, in addition to being published in Trama magazine, will receive an annual subscription to trama digital magazine. All winning entries will receive a diploma.
-TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Only projects received that meet the requirements of the rules will be published. The editorial board of Trama reserves the right not to publish works that do not comply with the parameters established in the rules or that do not meet the required level of presentation. The jury’s decision is final. By submitting your information you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
