Minimal House. Call for International Competition XIX
If you are an architect or student of architecture and you have a project (not built), carried out between 2012 and 2022, we invite you to submit one of your projects to compete to be published in the magazine Trama 171 next July. This call is open to architects and architecture students from anywhere in the world. The typology is housing of less than 90 m2. There is no cost to compete, you just have to comply with the following bases:
CONTEST RULES XIX INTERNATIONAL CALL
The purpose of the contest is to disseminate excellent quality architectural projects that are original proposals made by architects or architecture students in the last decade that for different reasons were not built but that constitute a professional contribution, and at the same time, deliver a recognition by publishing his work in the print and digital magazine Trama.
-REQUIREMENT: There are 2 categories, one for architects and one for architecture students. The project presented must have been carried out in the last decade (2012-2022) and does not have to have been built. Accepting housing up to 90 m2. Allowed: individual architects, teams of architects and architecture students.

Following the link, a folder named with the name of the author of the project (or team representative) must be uploaded.
The submitted folder must contain the following:
1. Technical file (.doc file) with the following data:
Project’s name:
Author/s: (name and surname)
University: (for students only)
Year:
Place: (city, country)
Other credits: (renders author or other participants)
IMPORTANT: This file must contain a signature of responsibility on the authorship, and written authorization to publish the project both on Facebook and Instagram as well as in the printed and digital Trama Magazine. They must also include contact information, name, identity document number, address and telephone number.
2. Brief descriptive memory. Maximum 1500 characters (with space). Delivered in Word file.
3. Plans, sections and diagrams in high resolution jpg format (Maximum 8 in total)
4. Renders and perspectives of the project (minimum 4) in jpg format 300 dpi high resolution, minimum compressed size of each file 4 MB.
5. The images (plans and photos) must not have watermarks or author names or logos.
6. Sheets are not accepted, only images and text separately.
7. It is considered that the images sent belong to the person who signs the project, if the credit of the images corresponds to another person and not to the author of the project, indicate in the technical file.
– SCHEDULE: The projects will be published on Facebook and Instagram as they are received from Friday, June 10 to Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. Ecuador time. Voting through the number of comments received will close on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Ecuador time, on Wednesday, July 6, the winners will be announced.
– WINNERS: 6 projects chosen by the jury appointed by Trama will be published in the magazine: 3 winning projects for each category and 6 projects with the highest number of comments received on social networks will be reviewed in the same edition. The winning projects will be published in the magazine Trama 171 both in the paper edition and in the digital edition that will circulate in the third week of next July.
-PRIZE: The 6 winning projects, in addition to being published in the Trama magazine, will receive an annual subscription to the digital plot magazine. All winning works will receive a diploma.
-TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Only received projects that meet the requirements of the bases will be published. Trama’s editorial board reserves the right not to publish works that do not meet the parameters established in the bases or that their level of presentation does not have the required level. The jury’s decision is unappealable. By submitting information you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
